Sterling have been awarded a number of contracts, totalling approx. US$ 5.00 MN in value, by the CMSD (Central Medical Stores Depot), part of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; for the supply of various items of medical equipment including; X-Ray, ECG, Ultra Sonogram, Autoclave, Sterilizer, OT and Orthopaedic Table, Centrifuge, Cryogenic Storage Systems, Anaesthesia Equipment, Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) and Mortuary Equipment. Most of the projects have been financed by the World Bank.
Sterling signed a contract, of US$4.28 MN value to deliver the construction of Modern Food Testing Laboratories in Dhaka and Chittagong on a Turn-Key Basis; including installation of the equipment, training and service delivery for 2(Two) years, financed by the A.D.B.
Recently, Sterling supplied various intelligence and security products to the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs); servicing thirty contracts of approx.US$6MN total value; projects included supply of; Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), Automated Ballistic Identification System (ABIS), Cyber Crime Detection System, Cellular Phone Tracking System, Video Spectral Comparator (VSC) for Authentication of Security Documents, Hand Writing Identification System, Foot Print & Tire Mark Identification System, Crime Scene Vehicles, Large Comparison Microscopes, Forensic Equipment and Kit Boxes, etc. Sterling’s current turnover is in the region of US$10(Ten) MN.
